Multi-talented young actor-composer-singer GV Prakash is one of the busy actor in Kollywood with more than six movies on hand, as an actor and composer at various stages of production. The actor was last seen in 100% Kadhal directed by MM Chandramouli.

Among his acting ventures, here is a latest update on an recently titled film 'Selfie'(?) directed by a debutant director Mathimaran Pugazhendhi, a former assistant to director Vetrimaaran.

Initially it was announced that producer SN Rajarajan of K Productions will produce the film, but as per the latest report, the movie changed hands, a new production banner by the name of DG Film Company will bankroll the film. The reason for the shift in banner although is not known.

The film was announced last year with Varsha Bollamma as female lead, who got fame after '96' and 'Bigil'. Vaagai Chandrasekar, debutant Guna, and entrepreneur Sam Paul are playing important roles. Director Gautham Vasudev Menon has been roped in to play the antagonist.

The movie will see Vishnu Rangasamy handling the camera, S Ilayaraja take care of editing and GV Prakash in-charge of the music. GV reportedly plays a college student in the film, and the story revolves around the difficulties he faces outside the college.
