Yash starrer KGF: Chapter 2 is one of the highly awaited movies, especially after the mass popularity of the first installment. Prashanth Neel, the director of the film is now the most-wanted director in Sandalwood after the runaway blockbuster.

As KGF: Chapter 1 turned out to be a tremendous success, expectations from the KGF: Chapter 2 are sky rocketing. Especially, with big guns like Sanjay Dutt joining in for a lead role. Considering all the buzz around the project, it is learnt that the movie has been offered a really huge deal by the online streaming giant, Amazon Prime.

Reports emerge, Amazon Prime has offered an amount of 55 crores to sign the digital rights deal for KGF: Chapter 2, which is inclusive of all language versions. It is interesting to note that, the amount is three times higher than the amount that was paid for the first part ie, 18 crores.

Major portions of the film were shot at a huge set erected in Hyderabad. A month ago, the makers announced that the film will release worldwide on October 23 and trailer will release before the film hit the theatres in October. Due to the lockdown, not sure if the team is still sticking to the October release.

KGF 2, starring Yash, Srinidhi Shetty, and Sanjay Dutt in the lead, narrates the tale of Rocky and his adventures at the Kolar Gold Fields. The Prashanth Neel directorial will also mark the Kannada-langauge debut of Bollywood actor Raveena Tandon and Sanjay Dutt. While Raveena Tandon will be playing the role of Chief Minister Ramika Sen, Sanjay Dutt, on the other hand, will play the role of lead antagonist Adheera. The poster of the upcomer was recently released amping up the expectations of the audiences.
