Fake bomb treat to actor Vijay from a Psycho
Few days ago Superstar Rajinikanth's residence received a bomb treat call and now Thalapathy Vijay's Saligramam residence received a bomb threat from an unknown person.

The Police Control Room in Chennai received a call a little after midnight on Sunday morning informing them about a bomb being planted at his residence. The police, as per the report, had to thoroughly examine the actor's house for close to two hours before confirming that it was a hoax.

The police traced the call to a 21-year-old youngster from Marakkanam, Villupuram district. Marakkanam police found that the call was a hoax and the person made the call is mentally unstable psycho-social disabilities and had made such hoax calls in the past too.

When we traced his call and his location, he admitted to doing it himself. Although he does not own a cell phone, he took a family member’s mobile phone to place the call,” the inspector added. The police issued a warning and let off the caller.

He has made such calls in the past to former Chief Minister Jayalalithaa, Puducherry Chief Minister Narayanaswamy and Puducherry Governor Kiran Bedi. He’d call 100, make an anonymous threat and hang up,” Marakkanam inspector was quoted.

Similarly, a threat call was made to Superstar Rajinikanth's Poe's Garden residence last month. The actor’s family refused to let the bomb squad in at first due to the pandemic. Later, it was confirmed that the threat was fake.

Actor Vijay also owns another property on the East Coast Road in Chennai. Vijay is awaiting the release Lokesh Kanagaraj directed 'Master'. The film was scheduled to release in April, but has been pushed indefinitely due to the COVID-19 lockdown.
