With no clear detail for the reopening of theaters in sight, more and more filmmakers are joining the OTT bandwagon. Small and medium budget films who doesn't want to wait for theatres consider this as blessing.

With films like 'RK Nagar','Ponmagal Vandhal' and 'Penguin' successfully released on OTT, 'Andhagaaram', 'Andava Kanom', 'Vaa Deal', 'Cocktail','Lock up' and 'Danny' are in the pipeline to release on various OTT platforms.

The latest to join in the list are 'Kallan', 'Monkey Donkey', and 'Devadas Brothers'. They are going to be premiered in new OTT platform the-ally.com. The-alley (Ally Softwares platform), India's first blockchain technology based theater at home is an open streaming platform for content creators to launch and monetize through Pay-Per-View. It enables creators and producers to provide seamless streaming directly to customers. The company has patented this technology to benefit buyers and owners.

The platform recently gained lot of attention from film makers and customers because of the release of Ram Gopal Varma's adult short film 'Naked'.

Among these 'Kallan' is a crime-action about a village huntsmen played by director Karu Pazhaniappan, directed by debutante Chandra.

'Monkey Donkey' directed by Abhianand and Saleesh Subramaniam is a kids drama with child artiste Yuvina, Sriram Karthik and Kishore Kumar play the lead roles. Actors Vandhana, Kali Venkat and Bose Venkat play important roles in the film.

'Devadas Brothers', directed by K. Janakiraaman is touted to be a comedy thriller, the film stars Dhruvva, Ajai Prasath, Shilpa Manjunath, Sanchita Shetty, Bala Saravanan in the prominent roles.

Apart from the new releases, the portal is also re-releasing movies like Bose Venkat's critically acclaimed 'Kanni Madam', Atharvaa's 'Semma Botha Aagathey', Kishore's 'Thilagar' and 'Kadhal Kasakuthaiya'.

This new strategic partnership between Ally & multiple production houses, creators & their release plans really sounds fascinating.
