Actor Suriya is all set to make his OTT debut with a web-series to be produced by Mani Ratnam for Amazon Prime. The web-series is titled as 'Navarasa', as per the title it is about nine basic emotions of mankind.

This is an anthology including nine stories or episodes, each story/emotions will be captured by nine directors including Jayendra of 180 fame, Gautham Menon, Karthick Naren, Bejoy Nambiar, Arvind Swamy, Siddharth, and Sudha Kongara. Mani Ratnam is directing one of the episode per sources. With this anthology actor Aravind Swamy and Siddharth are debuting as directors.

We hear that the Mani Ratnam has approached Suriya to act in a portion to be directed by Jayendra but things are yet to be finalized. This series is currently under pre-production work and the makers of the series are working in every possible way to make the series the best one.

Ratnam is planning to donate a part of the income generated through this anthology to help out the financially struggling film workers. Sources say that GV Prakash is likely to play the lead in Sudha Kongara's portion and Vijay Sethupathi has been approached to play the lead in Bejoy Nambiar's episode.

Meanwhile, Surya is awaiting the release of his upcoming Tamil film 'Soorarai Pottru', directed by Sudha Kongara.
