Thala Ajith's next film after 'Valimai' has been reported to be a collaboration with director Sudha Kongara of Madhavan's 'Irudhi Suttru' and Suriya's 'Soorarai Pottru' fame.

A couple of days ago, rumours were rife that Ajith had signed a film with director Sudha Kongara Prasad. It was also reported that AGS Entertainment will be bankrolling the film.

Meantime, in a chat session with his fans on Twitter, Composer GV Prakash confirmed that director Sudha Kongara Prasad narrated a script to Ajith, which is a action-oriented film.

"It is a superb script. If it (Ajith-Sudha Kongara teamup) happens, it will be great. This script has potential of topping the level she has reached with Soorari Pottru in Indian cinema. It will be a huge action film. Sudha had told me about the script. If it happens, it will be amazing.", said GV Prakash, who has worked with the director in her yet to be released film 'Soorarai Pottru'.

Talking about Ajith, GV Prakash recalled how the star gave him a big opportunity to work with him in Kireedam. "For a beginner like me, Kireedam was a big opportunity. All the songs in the film are being celebrated even now", said Prakash.

Talking about Ajith - Sudha project, on September 10, Archana Kalpathi of AGS Entertainment said that their production house has not signed any new films this year. In another tweet, she wrote that they have not met anyone and that they are waiting to listen to new scripts.

Archana Kalpathi wrote, "We have not signed any projects for 2020. Saw some fake news making the rounds so just wanted to clarify on behalf of @Ags_production. No we have not met anyone or had any discussions. We are just waiting (sic)."

On the otherhand, Sudha Kongara directed Soorarai Pottru awaits release on Amazon Prime Video from October 30, 2020. Ajith on the other hand is yet to resume 'Valimai' directed by H Vinoth.
