Mohan G, who debuted with 'Palaya Vannarapettai', become a well known director from his last film 'Draupathi', which became a surprise hit in box office and also courted controversy for portraying a certain section of people in bad light.

Now the same 'Draupathi' team has announced their next project titled ‘Rudra Thaandavam’ with a first-look title poster. The film will retain almost the same cast and technical crew. This marks the third collaboration of Mohan G and Richard Rishi, who played lead role in his previous two films.

The title posters looks intriguing with press media microphones, handcuffs, holy rosary and a gun all amalgamated in the bloodstained backdrops. Going by the poster, it could be a crime thriller and affirms that it will be a summer 2021 release.His 'Draupathi' is one of the last movies to see theatrical release before the COVID-19 pandemic, which has turned out to be the calling card of Mohan G, also starred Sheela Rajkumar and Karunas in important roles. The film was based on the marriage scam that happened in Tamil Nadu in 2013.
