Director Lokesh Kanagaraj has signed his next film with Kamal Haasan and an official announcement of the same was made recently.

Lokesh Kanagaraj, known for his work in 'Maanagaram' and 'Kaithi' is directing Ulaganayagan's 232nd film, produced by Kamal Haasan's own banner Raaj Kamal Films International. The untitled project is tentatively called 'KamalHaasan232'.

While social media and part of media reported that the movie has been titled 'Yevenendru Therikiradha', the director clarified it is not the title of the film in social media after releasing the announcement poster.

The latest news reports on the upcoming film with Kamal Haasan in the lead, could have the title as 'Guru.' The makers have not yet announced it officially, but the fans and film audiences are eagerly waiting for an update.

Currently, the team is on talks with Mani Ratnam to give permission for using title. Mani Ratnam's romantic drama with Abhishek Bachchan, Aishwarya Rai, Madhavan, Vidya Balan titled 'Guru' was released in 2007. 'Guru' is also the title of Kamal's 1980 revenge drama directed by IV Sasi.

The shooting of this film is probably expected to go on floors by November and will be hitting screens for April 2021. The highly anticipated film will have music direction by ace composer Anirudh Ravichander.

Meanwhile, Kamal Haasan is planning to complete 'Indian 2' with Shankar before joining Lokesh. 'Indian 2' will have actors Kajal Aggarwal, Rakul Preet Singh and Priya Bhavani Shankar in key roles.

On the other hand, Lokesh Kanagaraj is looking forward to the release of his highly anticipated flick called 'Master'. This film features Thalapathy Vijay in the lead and have Vijay Sethupathi playing villian.
