Dhanush joins Ryan Gosling, Chris Evans, and Ana de Armas for Russo brothers’ upcoming big-budget thriller spy movie 'The Gray Man'.Netflix announced today that Dhanush, Wagner Moura, Jessica Henwick and Julia Butters have joined the cast of this Netflix’s big-budget action thriller.
Netflix took to its official Twitter handle to reveal Tamil superstar Dhanush's inclusion with the tweet reading, "THE GRAY MAN cast just got even better. Jessica Henwick, Wagner Moura, Dhanush, and Julia Butters will join Ryan Gosling, Chris Evans, and Ana de Armas in the upcoming action thriller from directors Anthony and Joe Russo".
This markes second international project for Dhanush, after 2018’s The Extraordinary Journey of the Fakir. The movie is reportedly being made on a USD 200 million budget, the biggest-budget film in Netflix’s history on the feature side.
'The Gray Man' is based on the 2009 Mark Greaney novel of the same name. The movie is about a freelance assassin and former CIA operative named Court Gentry (played by Gosling). The movie will follow Gentry as he is hunted across the world by Lloyd Hansen (Evans), a former member of Gentry's CIA team.
'The Gray Man' turned into a bestselling book series, and the expectation is that Gosling will continue in multiple installments.
