The much-acclaimed music maestro is going great guns again!

The year 2009 had been fabulous for A R Rahman, grabbing every headline with his successful musical creation, Slumdog Millionaire - with the highlight being an Oscar in his portfolio.

Well, the musical talent has made it again in the nominee list of the 82nd Academy Awards; for a Hollywood flick.

Rahman reported to have bagged a nomination in the 'Best Original Song' category for the film ‘Couple’s Retreat’. The song, being a Tamil number “Na NA”, is said to be quite special for the composer, for it marks his 6 year old son Alim's debut as a singer. Besides, this is the first time Rahman has composed music for a Hollywood project.

'Na Na' was written by Rahman along with rapper Blaaze and Vivian Chaix and sung by the trio along with Alim, Clinton and Dominic.

Couples Retreat is directed by Emmy-nominated Peter Billingsley and stars Vince Vaughn and Kristin Davis. The film revolves round four couples trying to reconnect with each other through a tropical-island vacation.
