The scenario is changing fast. The list of movies getting released for Pongal keeps changing like sensex on a sensitive day. The minor change in the advertisements of director Simbudevan's 'Irumbukkottai Murattu Singam' in the dailies has given an impression that it might not hit the halls during the festival season. The word 'Pongal release' is missing and our enquiry confirms that the film would be releasing only after Pongal.






The reason behind this development is that the director doesn't want to rush, as the movie involves a lot of graphics work. He has reportedly told his producer Kalpathi Agoram that many graphics sequences are to be added in the final version and hence he can't speed up the release process.  Paying heed to his director's observations, the producer has decided to postpone the release of the film beyond Pongal.
