Padmapriya dreams big!
In the few Tamil films she has done, Padmapriya has proved she is great eye-candy and an even better actress! Her biggest asset is her readiness to try different characters, irrespective of the lack of glamour or otherwise. While she had no qualms in the glam role in Pattiyal, she was more than happy to don the burkha in Pokkisham. And while Kollywood is yet to give her more challenging opportunities, the Malayalam industry has recognised her versatility. Her latest action role in the biopic Pazhassi Raja has alerted the South Indian cine industry to her acting prowess all over again. But acting alone is not the lady's dream. 'I want to expand my knowledge about cinema. I want to learn all there is to it about every branch of film-making. I do not want to restrict myself to acting. I want to learn about the technical stuff, production, direction... everything,' asserts the ambitious MBA, who looks at the intellectual quotient of every role that comes her way.
