A Promising Pongal For Kollywood

What makes your spirits more invigorated for the festive seasons? In the actual sense, new releases will gradually keeps most of the masses intact for the day. Now with 4 big releases ‘Aayirathil Oruvan’, ‘Kutty’, ‘Porkalam’ and ‘Nanayam’ slated to hit screens, expectations are flying out to greater magnitude.

Indeed, most of the releases are completely based on out-of-box thinking for its unique genre that our filmmakers kept away from experimenting with….

Aayirathil Oruvan: Obsessed with an absolute need for a changeover, Selvaraghavan jumps onto a different ground. ‘Aayirathil Oruvan’ will be a flamboyantly adventurous ride of fantasies with eye-catching visuals. Karthi, Reema Sen and Andrea have pinned more hopes on this film.

Kutty: Telugu film ‘Aarya’ was adjudged as stupendous hit in Tollywood and now the remake has more reasons to be a successful film. Firstly, it’s about coming together of Jawahar-Dhanush after the grand success of ‘Yaaradi Nee Mohini’. ‘Kutty’ will be a sang-froid entertainer for the family audiences.

Porkkalam: Filmmaker Bandi Saroj Kumar can be entitled as the youngest filmmaker in Tamil film industry. Perhaps, the film’s promos discombobulate us over addressing him as a ‘debutant’. The film has Kishore in lead role and 8 happening actors in prominent roles.

Naanayam: Ever wondered why our filmmakers don’t at least make an attempt for a desi version of ‘Dog Day Afternoon’. Preferably, this cannot be claimed to be an equivalently captivating film as that one. But then, ‘Naanayam’ is completely based on a bank heist with lots of turns and twists.

Doubtlessly, these releases should keep you occupied for the complete week. Keep logging to this column for more updates and exclusives reviews.
