If reports are to be believed, popular South Indian beauty Asin is likely to step in Katrina Kaif's shoes in Anurag Basu’s new Bollywood flick Khamoshi, starring Ranbir Kapoor in the lead role.
Katrina Kaif had walked out of the project recently as that the director had signed on Priyanka Chopra as well. According to reports, Asin has agreed to act in the film. The film will hit the floors by August.
Meanwhile, we also hear some other reasons cited from Katrina’s end for backing off from the project. Kat has reportedly got hold of the rights of the remake of a French film, which she is going to produce as well as act in. Thus, due to a date crunch, she had to let go one of her films, in order to accommodate this French film remake. Also she was not interested in any double heroine ventures.
