AGS Entertainment has no regards for spending more budgets into their projects. It was pretty illustrious with their previous films including ‘Irumbu Kottai Murattu Singam’. Venturing with different motifs, they’ve drawn towards a period film ‘Madrasapattinam’ – an ancient take of Chennai city during pre-independence era of a Dhobi falling in love with British Governor’s daughter.

Much inspired by his mentor Priyadarshan’s efforts of making period films, Vijay too has crafted an intensely appealing drama of same genre. The film is reported to hit screens on first week July and the producers are planning for a bigger release.

The musical score by G.V. Prakash has made it bigger on charts and the release is going to be bigger as producers are planning for such endeavoring efforts.
