One of the most sought-after superstars of Bollywood, John Abraham is putting all his energy in working out for Vipul Shah’s next film. Mumbai Meri Jaan director Nishikant Kamat will direct this film. John will be playing a tough officer from a special squad in the movie; the role requires him to bulk up his already well-toned frame. The film is the Hindi adaptation of Tamil flick Kaakha Kaakha (starring Suriya and Jyotika). The film was earlier remade in Telugu as Gharshana with Venkatesh and Asin in the lead roles.
Earlier there were reports that Vipul Shah was keen to sign Sonam Kapoor after John refused to work with Asin. Then, model Diana Penty was almost finalized but finally it's pretty girl Genelia who has finally bagged the role. Shooting begins this month.
