The album begins with an electrifying theme music 'Manmadhan Ambu'. Interestingly, there are no lyrics in this song. The usage of heavy western instruments makes the composition more interesting.

Then comes the stylish 'Whos The Hero' rendered by Andrea Jeremiah. This peppy number depicting our hero's heroism is likely to be the introduction song for Kamal Haasan. Though the song has some Tamil lyrics, there are lots of western touches. The music is very loud and this makes the lyrics unclear.

Now comes the much-awaited 'Kamal Kavidhai' rendered by Kamal Haasan and Trisha. It is more like a singsong! The song is very different from the regular format; here Kamal and Trisha read out some poems on women in a rhythmic tone.

Can you ever imagine a Tamil film album without the famous 'kuthu' song? So here comes 'Oyyale', a mass 'kuthu' number crooned perfectly by Suchitra, Mukesh and Karthik Kumar. However, Mukesh's raw voice stands out and adds more energy to the song. It also has some heavy instrumentations!

Now get ready for a solo number by our 'Ullaganayagan' Kamal Haasan. 'Dhagudu Dhattham' is a very raw song rendered in a typical Kamal style. The song is about the rich-poor class difference in the society. The heavy drum beat which comes throughout the song makes it very peppy. The song is a typical Devi Sri Prasad number with lots of heavy instruments.

Now comes the title song 'Manmadan Ambu' sung by Devi Sri Prasad, which is likely to be used for promos. The phrase 'Mann madhan ambu...' has been rendered beautifully by DSP. The lyrics are very simple and catchy! The song is in fact a fusion of folk and pop with some Tamil rap in between. This song is likely to top the charts very soon.

The album ends with the melodious 'Neela Vaanam' rendered beautifully by Kamal Haasan and Priya Hemesh. It is a slow-romantic number with some beautiful lyrics. Towards the end of the song the pace increases slightly, which is a treat to listen to. Priya Hemesh sings only a small bit and the song is fully dominated by Kamal Haasan.

Overall, Devi Sri Prasad has delivered another peppy album!
