Aadhi-Vasanthabalan's Aravaan progressing

Aravaan progressing
After the tremendous success of Angadi Theru, all eyes are on director Vasanthabalan. The Veyyil director is currently busy with his epic film Aravaan with Aadhi and Pasupathy in the lead roles. The film is produced by Amma Creations; Siddharth will handle the camera and singer Karthik will compose the music. The film is expected to grace theatres by the end of 2011.
Aravaan, set in the mid 18th century, is the story of an ordinary man with an extraordinary talent. The film will also have Malayalam actress Archana Kavi (of Neelathamara fame) and Dhaniska in important roles. Aravaan is based on one of the many stories that were part of ‘Kaavalkottam’ (a collection of novels penned by Su. Venkatesan).
Aravaans are security guards who are named after Aravaan, the son of Arjuna, who sacrificed himself before Goddess Kali for the victory of the Pandavas in the Kurukshetra war in Mahabharata. The story revolves around one such Aravaan.
