Vijay out of 3 Idiots remake
It looks like Shankar’s remakes of Bollywood blockbuster 3 Idiots are creating more buzz even before they start. A recent press statement from Gemini Film Circuit confirms that Ilayathalapathy Vijay has opted out of the film. They also clarified that a top star will replace Vijay in the Tamil version. Who will be the new idiot? Wait and see! Srikanth and Jiiva will play the roles played by Madhavan and Sharman Joshi in the original, while Sathyaraj will play the role of the principal. Ileana will enact Kareena’s role in both versions. There are also reports that Mahesh Babu, who was supposed to play lead role in the Telugu version, is also planning to opt out.
