Prabhakaran, a Madurai based distributor, has filed a case against Shakthi Chidambaram who is the producer of Vijay's Kavalan. The distributor says he has been cheated to an amount of 35.50 lakhs.
He says that Shakthi Chidambaram has to give that amount for screening Sundar C's movie Guru Sishyan.
The matter was taken to Madurai Ramanathapuram District Distributor's Council. Prabhakaran says that Shakthi has offered him the rights of Kavalan but did not do that either.


Therefore distributor Prabhakaran has filed a case in Madurai court.
