Kabir Bedi in Vasanthabalan’s Aravaan

Internationally acclaimed film actor Kabir Bedi is all set to play a prominent role in director Vasanthabalan’s much awaited epic film Aravaan. The film narrates the story of 72 palayams (dynasties) under the Naicker rule. Aravaan means a complete man, one who is tender and ferocious at the same time. This bilingual made in Tamil and Telugu is based on love, valour and redemption. According to sources, Kabir Bedi will play the role of a charismatic palayakarar (ruler) who is worshipped by one and all. He is expected to start shooting for the film in March. Interestingly Kabir Bedi has recently hired a Tamil tutor to learn the language. The film has Aadhi, Pasupathy, Archana Kavi and Dhaniska in prominent roles.
