After Aayirathil Oruvan, there were news that Selvaraghavan is going to direct a film which will have Vikram in the lead role and another film which will have Vijay in the lead role.
But Selvaraghavan has shelved all these films and is now directing a film titled Irandam Ulagam which has his brother Dhanush in the lead role.

The shooting of the film Irandam Ulagam is coming to an end. At this point of time Selvaraghavan has decided to direct a film which will have Kamal Haasan in the lead role. Selvaraghavan has narrated a story to Kamal Haasan. Kamal after to listening to one line of the story has agreed to give his call sheet.
