Director Shankar's prestigious project Nanban is all set to start the next schedule very soon.

Meanwhile it is known that Editor Anthony is out from Nanban team. The reasons for this are still to be known and also the details of the person who is going replace Anthony is kept under wraps. The media is at a buzz about the editor being out and this has stunned many in Kollywood. Now it is director Shankar who needs to clear the air about this issue.

Nanban is not only the remake of the 2009 Bollywood film 3 Idiots, directed by Rajkumar Hirani but also it is loosely adapted from the novel Five Point Someone written by Chetan Bhagat. The film features Vijay, Jeeva, Srikanth and Ileana in the lead roles.

Music is by Harris Jayraj while Manoj Paramahamsa is designated as the cinematographer. Gemini Film Circuits is producing this mega budget film.
