According to the close sources of Sony BMG it is known that audio rights of Mankatha have been acquired by them for a whopping amount. The audio and the film have already raised the expectations of the audiences including the audio marketers. Sony is well known for its substantial sound quality and now Mankatha in the hands of Sony BMG is expected to have stunning quality of music. Yuvan's music is going to rock and it was already proved many times earlier.

As Yuvan is busy with his other projects the audio launch got postponed. It was earlier decided by the filmmakers that the release of music on May 1st, 2011 for the occasion of Thala's birthday. The audio launch is likely to take place during second or third week of May.
