A website having Avan Ivan audio has allowed their users for free download and this came into the notice of music director Yuvan Shankar Raja. He immediately passed on the information to Sony Music Entertainments as they are the official audio rights of Avan Ivan. Sony Music has right away taken it on a serious note and is currently trying out to close down the website.

Yuvan says "This leakage might have happened when Sony have sent the master copy of the songs abroad a few days ago".
Yuvan tweeted "Sony says they send the masters to overseas few days before and should have leaked from there! But I’m upset with this. Piracy is killing. I know Avan Ivan will reach where it has to, I’m not worried about that but this is wrong!”
