Renowned cinematographer Ravi K Chandran who has taken a break from Suriya's 7am Arivu shoot is back in the project. In fact Ravi K Chandran had a date clash with 7am Arivu and a Bollywood film Agneepath produced by Karan Johar.

But the cinematographer is back to the shoot of Suriya's film as he had difference of opinions with the film’s director Kiran Deohans during the first schedule itself. He now decided to work for 7am Arivu. During Ravi K Chandran's absence his associate Ravi Varman has canned the mass song in Chennai locations for the film.
