The actress while speaking to a section of media confessed that she never considered herself as a south actress and this has irked the South filmdom. A leading English tabloid broke the news about the statement made by her. The South Film Industry has demanded an apology for her statements and the filmmakers from Tamil and Telugu even decided to ban her from doing films in South. Kajal reacting to the statement said that she didn’t mean to hurt South filmmakers or the industry.

The actress explained that it was the journo who misunderstood her statement and therefore the miscommunication happened. She also confessed that she will continue her magic in South screens and always loved to be a part of South Indian movies.
