Simbu’s Osthi shoots at Mysore... distribution by Sun Pictures?

Silambarasan's Osthi, the remake of Salman Khan’s blockbuster Dabangg, is currently shooting in Mysore. The team has started the shoot in Mysore from yesterday.
Simbu plays the role of Vel Murugan, Richa Gangopadhyay reprises the role of Sonakshi Sinha, Arbazz Khan's role will be played by Jithan Ramesh while Nassar and Revathi are playing the roles of Simbu's father and mother. Sonu Sood repeats his role in Tamil version too as a villain. STR has joined the sets of Osthi in Mysore yesterday directly from the sets of Podaa Podi. The actor has given 35 days of call sheet for the first schedule of Osthi. The team is shooting in a small village near Mysore where they have erected a huge set.
The technical team comprises of Gopinath for cinematography, V. T. Vijayan for editing, and Thaman for music while story and screenplay is done by Dileep Shukla.
Osthi is directed by Dharani while Ramesh and Mohan Apparao are producing the film under the banner of Balaji Real Media.
Trade buffs are at a buzz that the film will be distributed by Sun Pictures.
