Kollywood handsome hunk Suriya doesn't like to sign films with debutant directors and always love to work with established and popular directors. So is the case with his brother Karthi until Saguni. It is well known that Karthi changed his track by working with debutant Shankar Dayal for Saguni.
But Suriya has never done that and when it comes to big directors, the actor is ready to grant any requests made by the directors. So far Suriya worked with ace directors like Manirathnam, Gautham Menon, Murugadoss, Ram Gopal Varma and others. Suriya is ready to accommodate any number of dates asked by ace directors. Directors like AR Murugadoss was able to hold him for a year long shoot for the film 7am Arivu. The actor in return can also ask his directors who have signed him for the future to wait till he completes his current film. This is all because the star holds a strong market in South cinema.
Recently, Suriya asked director KV Anand to wait until he finishes 7am Arivu. It is vice versa situation as the director also asked him to give three quarters of a year for the shoot of Maatraan. Besides this the star already asked Directors Hari and Vetrimaran to wait until he completes Maatraan. It is well known that Hari always makes a quickie while Vetrimaran will take longer than normal to complete a film.
It looks like Suriya is completely busy for the coming two years but no worry for big directors as he is ready to give his dates for them.
