Padma Shri and Dada Saheb Phalke Award Winner K.Balachander Sir is a legendary Director, Producer, Screenwriter, Actor, Television Director, and Stage Conductor. He is also known as Iyakkunar Sigaram. He was born on July 9th 1930 in Thanjavur, Tamil Nadu.
