Actress Manu who played Ajith's love interest in Kadhal Mannan fame did that one film and quit. She took up dancing and also got involved with production - related activities. Her work takes her a lot to Singapore and her knowledge of the country is extensive. When Rajinikanth was taken there for treatment, Manu was on hand to help the family.

It was with her help that they found a comfortable and luxurious apartment for Superstar to rest and recuperate. 

Whenever anything was needed, Manu would render assistance. When Rajini returned to India, Manu was there on the same flight with him and his family. Pretty Manu downplayed her role in all this and said she was happy to help the great man.
