Ilayathalapathy Vijay stormed Salem on Sunday.

A huge meeting of Vijay Makkal Iyakkam (VMI) took place in the town. Nearly Rs 10 lakhs worth relief and consumer items were distributed among the poor and needy.
A huge crowd was there at the meeting cheering Ilayathalapathy as he spoke.

He claimed his VMI is not a political outfit, but devoted to people's welfare.
The star also added that he supported Jayalaithaa and her AIDMK, which won a landslide win this elections.

Vijay in his speech said: " I'm very happy that AMMA won and became the chief minister. She has augured well for the state, and we will support her".
