Amala Paul says that that she is not in love with director Vijay but they are only friends. There was controversy when Amala Paul debuted in her debutant film Sindhu Samaveli because she donned the role of daughter-in-law who has illegal connections with her father-in-law.

Then she came out of this controversy and became very popular by acting in her second film Myna. Later she continued to act in Deiva Thirumagal which also turned out to be a super hit. Because of this, she has now become one of the leading actresses in Kodambakkam. Now she is pairing with late actor Murali’s son Adharva in the film Muppozhuthum Un Karpanaigal. Now there are rumors that romance has blossomed between Amala Paul and director Vijay who had directed films like Madrasapattinam and Deiva Thirumagal. Moreover Amala Paul has cancelled her Telugu film shooting and participated in Vijay’s family personal function.


Amala Paul while speaking about this said, " Vijay and I are good friends. There is no love or anything between us. Moreover there is no time for all this. All my concentration is on my acting only. I want to act at least in 100 films before I get married. This is my only dream. Apart from this there is no time for love or any other things."
