KollyInsider has reported long back that filmmaker Vetri Maaran is in plans to direct a new film with Silambarasan in the lead. The script work has been in the progress from past one year and now, the film seems to be taking shape and finalizing the cast.
The latest buzz is Amala Paul is being considered for the leading lady role in the movie tentatively titled as Vada Chennai. The film will also have a powerful cameo, for which Telugu hero Rana Daggubati is being considered. Andrea might be zeroed in as female lead along side Rana. However, an official announcement regarding the details is expected soon.
Vada Chennai is expected to hit the sets, as soon as Simbhu completes the works of his Osthi.
