The upcoming film Kaadhal Pisase is all set to go deep into the reasons which make students violent and take to arms by sheer accident.
Major portions of the film's sequences have been shot in Canada. Produced by Dream Art Creations, the film has Aravind as the hero who has doubled up as the director of the film.

Mithuna and Anitha Reddy are the two heroines opposite Aravind in the film. Santhanam, who has of late become an integral part of almost all the Tamil films, plays the main comedian in the film. Others in the cast include Kottachi, 'Cool' Suresh, Easter, Vanitha, Santhanabarathi and Bhuvana.

Aravind says that he had to shoot major portion of the film in many cities in Canada as he had to 'go' by the script which had its story set against the backdrop of Canada. Some sequences have been shot in and around Chennai, Puducherry and Mumbai. Brindhan has scored the music of the film which has Paul Livingston as the cameraman. The duo of Sabesh and Murali has scored the background music.

Aravind plays a college student who has loads of dreams and ambitions to live for. He falls in love with a girl who too shares his aspirations and dreams. Unexpected turn of events makes him a gangster; instead of holding books, he is forced to hold deadly weapons in his hands. The rest of the script is about what the violent spell does to his life and changes it. Aravind is confident that the film would strike the 'right cord' among the student fraternity.

Srivijay has penned the lyrics while Thangaraj has penned the story, screenplay and dialogues. The shooting of the film has been wrapped up and the re-recording and dubbing work are going on at a terrific pace. The audio of the film would be launched next week in the New Year and the film is likely to hit the screens in the last week of January.
