We all know that director Shankar needs no introduction when it comes to cinema, because his very name pulls crowds to theatres.
The ace director is currently busy with his first remake Nanban, starring Vijay, Jiiva, Srikanth, Ileana, Sathyaraj and Sathyan in prominent roles.

The much awaited film is likely to grace theatres for Pongal as kollyinsider reported, but here is an interesting fact. All of Shankar's films which ends with 'N' have been blockbusters; Gentleman, Mudhalvan, Kadhalan, Indian, Anniyan and the record breaking Enthiran. And interestingly Nanban begins and ends with N. So can we expect another record breaker from the maverick director?
