The overseas rights for Ajith's Billa 2 have been bought for a record price of $1 million by GK Media, an US-based Tamil film distribution company.

Things are indeed happening at a fast pace on the Billa 2 front. Ajith, with Billa-2 joins Tamil cinema's exclusive million dollar club. Rajinikanth, Kamal Haasan, Vijay and Suriya are the other members of this club, where top hero films get $ 1 million plus as overseas rights.

The buzz in overseas trade circles is that Billa 2 was sold for Rs 5.3 Crores($ 1 million), the highest ever for a Ajith film.

It is 30 % more than Mankatha which was sold for approximately for Rs 3.75 Crore.
