Ajith's upcoming movie titled Billa-2 under the direction of Chakri Toleti has completed its entire talkie part shooting and currently post production works are going on.
Film makers released the first look poster of the film on January 14th on the eve of Pongal and trailer will be released in early February. Makers also planned to release the audio in the month of March and Movie on Tamil New Year day in April.

Billa 2 is a prequel to the 2007 film Billa and would focus on how David, an ordinary man from the coastal regions of South Tamil Nadu, becomes Billa, a dreaded underworld don, with Ajith Kumar reprising the role of the titular character.
Parvathy Omanakuttan, former Miss India 2008 is playing the leading lady role. Meenakshi Dixit will be seen in an item girl and the gymnast-cum-martial arts expert Vidyut Jamwal who plays the villain’s role in the movie. Yuvan Shankar Raja is composing the songs for the movie.
