Leading producer Gjnavel Raja's Studio Green, Suriya and Karthi's production house has snapped the Tamil Nadu distribution rights of Telugu film Businessman.


Businessman has Telugu superstar Mahesh Babu in the lead along with Kajal Aggarwal and is directed by hit maker Puri Jagannadh. The film is getting ready for release on January 13 worldwide for Pongal.

Mahesh Babu has the biggest opening among other language hero's in Tamil Nadu. His last release Dookudu was the highest collecting Telugu film in Chennai city.

Now Businessman combination is terrific – Mahesh Babu with Puri Jagannadh, the hit superstar-director duo whose last release Pokkiri (2006) was remade in Tamil and other languages and went on to become hits.

The grapevine has it that Gjnavel Raja who has brought the distribution rights for Tamil Nadu, also holds the remake rights in Tamil. If the film becomes a hit in Andhra, Businessman will surely be remade in Tamil with one of the brothers in the lead. ​
