There is slight decrease in the collections of Nanban on fifth day of release. As its working day, the occupancy rate of the theatres decreased slightly and it is around 75 to 80% on fifth day.
The movie received a record of around Rs 54 crore gross collections on first 5 days of release.

The movie which was released world wide on January 12, 2012 received positive reviews from almost all websites and media. Vijay, Srikanth, Jiiva, Ileana, Satyaraj played lead role in the movie. Ace director Shankar directed the movie.
