Pranitha, the Sandalwood girl who shot to fame with her very debut film Udhayan in Tamil, is raved for her beauty and acting skills.

So, it didn't come as a surprise when she was picked to play the lead role opposite Karthi for his upcoming political satire Saguni, directed by Shankar Dayal.

Sources say when Pranitha's portions were completed and she was sent back. Reportedly, when the director was seeing the rushes, the team felt that some of her portions needed to be reshot and hence asked her for a few extra dates.

Her reply, which upset the entire unit, is now the talk of the town! She has allegedly said that she was too busy to be disturbed and could not allot any more dates.

When DC contacted Pranitha, the actress who was shooting for a Kannada film in Bengaluru, was clueless about the rumour! "Saguni is one of the best films in my career.

In fact I gave bulk dates and was extremely comfortable while working for all the schedules. I enjoyed every bit of my shooting.

They looked after me so well. Nothing that has been reported is true. I don't know from where all these rumours are coming from.
