Director AL Vijay has bought a new flat, a penthouse at the upmarket Kadar Nawaz Khan Road in Chennai for a whopping price!

The Grihapravesham of the flat was done today (Feb 6) morning with his few friends like Nirav Shah, GV Prakash, UTV Dhananjayan, Vikram and others attending the Ganapathi Homam.

Remember that the grapevine had it that the director bought the flat for his 'good friend' Amala Paul but kollyinsider.com understands that this is Vijay's dream house which he has brought and gifted to his parents.

Vijay, we hear is busy trying to make his new home look different from regular star homes.
The director who is busy with Thaandavan has just completed a schedule in New Delhi and will be going to US for a month-long shoot with Vikram, Anushka and Amy Jackson playing the lead characters.
