Andrea will star in Pudhiya Thiruppangal, a hard-hitting movie about child trafficking, directed by Saradha Ramanathan whose 2007 movie Sringaram won three national awards.
Her Pudhiya Thiruppangal will deal with a 13 year old who is trafficked and sold to the sex trade. The young girl is portrayed by Dharini. Saradha, in a press meet recently, was all praises for Dharini who has played the role to perfection.

Andrea plays a journalist who exposes the girl’s plight. Madhu Ambat handles camera and Saradha is introducing Rajalakshmi as editor in Pudhiya Thiruppangal. “I researched a lot for the movie and worked with policemen who handled such cases. I have left nothing for imagination on the subject and it will be a hard-hitting film,” Saradha declared in the press meet.
