Post Aadhi Bhagavan, the director is likely to join hands with the Ulaganayagan.

Long before Ameer started work on Aadhi Bhagavan, the director was in talks with Kamal Haasan to do a film. But, the modalities couldn’t be worked out then and Kamal went on to start work on his ambitious project, Viswaroopam. And now, after almost two years, Ameer is planning to approach the Ulaganayagan again, with hopes of resuming the project.


Talking to CT, Ameer says, “After Aadhi Bhagavan, I’m planning to do a film with Kamal Haasan. I had already asked him if he would do a film with me, and we had even discussed a couple of scripts. But, we both got busy with our respective projects later.

Now, I’m concentrating on completing Aadhi Bhagavan and releasing it by June and even Kamal would have finished his Viswaroopam by then. I will soon meet up with him to discuss our next!”

Interestingly, Ameer is a self-confessed fan of Kamal, and had even declared that he’d like to assist the ace actor in one of his directorials. Even Kamal was all praise for the filmmaker’s Paruthiveeran, which fetched him awards at the national level.
