Rumours were making the round that Nadigar Sangam chief Sarath Kumar was to do a cameo appearance in Vijay's AR Murgadoss directed Thupakki.

When contacted Sarath Kumar said : " I just returned from the US yesterday and flooded with the same question, “No” is the answer. I have never been contacted for the film."

Sarath Kumar is not averse to doing a multi-starrer, but his hands are full. He has just completed Rajinikanth's Kochadiyaan and is currently completing his Malayalam and Kannada assignments. The star has also to finish his Vidiyal with Sneha.
