Karthi, Anushka and Pratap Pothan are in Chalakudy shooting for their Suraj directed Alex Pandian. It is an out and out action packed adventure film produced by K Gjnavelraja for Studio Green.

Alex Pandian's 70 % of the shoot has been completed. In all probability, the film may release for Diwali. Santhanam plays an important role in this mass masala flick. Devi Sri Prasad has already composed four of the five songs inthe film.

Karthi is doing some crucial scenes in the forests of Athirapally near Chalakudy in Kerala. Remember Karthi is familiar with Athirapally where he had spent weeks shooting for Selvaraghavan's Aayirathil Oruvan.

The Alex Pandian unit is shooting deep in the forests and want to complete the schedule before the end of May, as monsoon will hit Kerala in the first week ofJune. Karthi, the complete professional that he is wanted to wrap up the shoot and was even willing to work on his birthday (May 25), before rains hit Kerala.
