Samantha, the gorgeous actress is signing back to back films in Tamil and Telugu as well. This busy actress has reportedly signed Shankar’s upcoming directorial venture with Vikram in the lead role.

Titled as Thendral in Tamil which will also be simultaneously released in Telugu, the movie is a take on election. Earlier there was abuzz that star actresses from Bollywood Asin, Katrina Kaif and Priyanka Chopra might pair opposite Vikram but finally Samantha has bagged the chance and will be seen playing Vikram’s love interest in this political project.

AM Ratnam is going to produce the film that will have music tunes by AR Rahman, while PC Sreeram will crank the camera. Samantha is the only luckiest actress, who got chance to act in the direction of all the top notch directors of South at the same time.

Remember, Samantha is gearing up for a release her forthcoming bilingual graphical extravaganza ‘Eega’ directed by SS Rajamouli, Yeto Vellipoindi Manasu with Gautham Menon, ‘Kadal’ with Mani Ratnam and has now signed a big-budget film to be directed by Shankar.
