Vishal's upcoming film 'Samaran' is been given a new name. The title has been changed to Samar' now!

"We found 'Samar' a better and apt title for the film," says Thiru, the director of the film.

The film has already started its shoot and also finished major portions of the film. The unit just completed their Thailand schedule of the shoot where crucial scenes of the film were shot.

"Our crew is again travelling to Thailand to start our next schedule that starts on May 10. It is a 24-day schedule and, meanwhile, we are also planning a single track music album release of the film," adds Thiru.
Trisha plays the female lead in the film. This is the first time that Trisha is pairing with Vishal. Both are very thick friends and always wanted to do a film together but this longtime wish has come true only now.

After his debut film 'Theeratha Vilaiyaattu Pillai', Thiru is directing Vishal for the second time with this film. 'Samar' is produced by Balaji Real Media, who produced Simbhu starrer 'Osthi' and music is done by Yuvan Shankar Raja.
