The buzz in the industry is that actress Samantha has been approached for Yaavarum Nalam director Vikram Kumar’s next.
The film, starring three generations of the illustrious Akkineni family — veteran actor Nageswar Rao, his son Nagarjuna, and his grandson Naga Chaitanya — has been tentatively titled Thrayam.


Quiz Vikram if it’s true, and he says, “We have plans of casting Samantha, but it’s too early to talk about it as the film will go on floors only during the fag end of this year.”
In an earlier interview, Vikram had told us that he has plans of making the film into a Tamil-Telugu bilingual.

Meanwhile, Vikram is happy that his Telugu film Ishq, starring Nootrenbadhu girl Nithya Menen, Nitin and Sindhu Tolani (of Sullan fame) had completed 100 days run at the BO. “It had a successful run in Tollywood, and I’m kicked about the prospect of remaking it in Hindi as well,” he adds.
