Jeevan who began his career as a still photographer for movies such as Jeans, Iruvar and Nandha, turned a cameraman with Prabhu Solomn’s Kokki followed by Thuthukudi, Nenjirukkumvarai and the under production Saattai.
He ventured to direction and made movies like Gnayabagangal and Myilu. His third venture Amara is ready for release.


The movie stars new face Amaran, Sruthi Ramakrishnan, Ashish Vidyarthi, Sampath, Ganja Karuppu, Livingston, Vaiyapuri and Tharika. The highlight of the movie is D Imman’s music.
Says Imman, ‘Prabhu Solomon introduced me to Jeevan when he was working in his unit as a cameraman. We began work on this movie much before Mynaa. But the project got delayed due to various reasons which, I feel, have only proved beneficial. The songs have come out well. Director Jeevan has kept many portions in the film sans dialogue to be filled up with music. Amara is a visually-oriented film and all of us have given it our best’.

The album has eight tracks and all have come really good. I am grateful to Imman for his splendid work, says the director.
